Welcome to my homepage. Here you can listen to some audio reviews from me.

The Olympus DS-50 is a new (January 2007) voice recorder with a very special feature: Voice guidance. It can speak names of menus, folders and provides feedback when deleting stuff. My little demo review lasts approx. 30 minutes.
Here are some demo recordings, made with the DS-50 in the WMA format:
Demo1, Demo2
Here's one addition, in the review, I say, that one cannot copy MP3 files onto the BookPort without using the supplied software and then play them. Dean Martineau told me, that this is actually possible.

The Plextalk PTR1 is a talking DAISY recorder. Here's my review of the machine, which I did a couple of years ago for Main Menu.

Plextor has created a new recorder, the PTR2. In this review, I talk about the new features of the successor to the PTR1.

And here's a test recording, which I created on the PTR2. Please note, that the recording level control does not talk as accurately as it does normally, because I put the microphone close to the speaker, when it talks and this makes the speech provide feedback to its own recording level control comments.
